MISTIC Welcomes over 70 Individuals to their Open House

On September 30, 2009, MISTIC hosted an open house at the Nanaimo Art Gallery to celebration their new location in downtown Nanaimo at 150 Commercial Street. 

The event was a success with attendance by regional businesses, local service providers, and representatives from Vancouver Island University, Industry Canada and the BC Innovation Council. 

The open house was a catalyst for networking and business discussion and provided an opportunity for science, technology and innovation businesses to share information with industry about their products and services.  Tours were provided of the MISTIC office, which included a meeting room and office for science, technology and innovation businesses to meet with clients.
