When we think of the Mid and North Islands business successes in Science, Technology & Innovation, the terms diverse, unique, determination and achievement often come to mind. The Mid and North Island innovation businesses encompassing Mill Bay in the south to the tip of Vancouver Island in the north and including communities on the West Coast, Sunshine Coast and Gulf Islands, are continually growing and establishing their mark as major economic contributors.

The "MISTIC Science, Technology & Innovation Awards" is a unique opportunity for community and business members to step forward and support the local businesses within our region by either submitting a nomination, becoming a sponsor of this event or attending the gala awards banquet which will provide you the opportunity to network with your peers and leaders in industry.

Do you know an individual or business that has demonstrated passion, commitment, creativity, innovation and sound business practices that contributes to the success of the Mid and North Vancouver Island knowledge based sectors? Have you recently been served by a business that has created emerging technology or an innovative process or product; developed and provides innovative software or electronic service; involved in a science, technology or innovation partnership; is a promising start-up company; a survivor or a young entrepreneur? Ticket Sales
Come and take part in this opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and honour the business success specific to our region and network with your peers. The MISTIC Science, Technology & Innovation Awards gala banquet will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Networking, cocktails from the no-host bar and appetizers will start at 6:00 pm in the main lobby area to followed by the dinner and award presentation at 7:00 pm. The agenda is set to include breaks between the award presentations so ample time will be provided to network with the other attendees.
